Since Vibrant Parks was initially founded our ambition has grown to impact more young people, not only on a local level but also globally.

The international element of our Vibrant Parks programme allows young volunteers to travel to inspiring places. Volunteers are given the responsibility of working together to plan, prepare, and deliver a range of educational sessions which draw on their personal strengths and interests.

The goal is to introduce our young volunteers to ideas and values that will enhance the rest of their lives. We aim to achieve this by providing them with the opportunity to make a difference to children from deprived communities, visit and experience other cultures, gain valuable work experience, and create lifetime memories. In recent years we have worked with partners who share our ethos in the USA, South Africa, Portugal, Italy, Greece, and Germany.

We are confident that the international part of our Vibrant Parks programme equips our young leaders with the essential knowledge they need to prosper throughout life. It is our firm belief that volunteering should be given a rewarding and life-changing experience in the best possible ways, and Vibrant Parks enables young people from the UK to help their peers globally the same time as enhancing their own lives.
